The Tenants Supermen Watch Newport County Get Promoted!

As you may have seen in a recent blog, The Tenants Supermen have recorded a song called "Come On The County" for their beloved Newport County F.C. On the 15th of March they witnessed the County win against Havant and get promoted. Here are the boys celebrating with a massive pitch invasion at Spytty Park behind them:Here's the team and managers making some lovely speeches. Grayham witnessed a young boy puking up with excitement as his father patted his back with joy.
The booze was flowing freely as the team entered Bar Amber, the best place to get drunk after some football.
Here's the boys with Gandee and Billy Webb celebrating with some new commemorative scarfs:
Then it all went a bit weird and the boys had to go back to their bat-cave equivalent.
Here's Lloyd, he would've loved the pitch invasion (check the film below) but he wasn't there.
"Come on the county, we're going up!!"

The Tenants Supermen Record Drums For Their New Album.

It was time for The Tenants Supermen to return to the wonderful Junkyard Studios to record some drums for tracks on their new album "Broke Britain". Here's Steve laying down some lovely beats. The Supermen had nominated four songs for live drums; "Superdruggy", "Take Off", "Tenants Smooth" and "I Love Dr Who". Steve rocked and nailed the tracks like a hammer to a...uh...nail.
Adam got so excited that a small amount of wee came out of his penis and wet his jeans. What a shame.
No one cared though because Jamie, who was also producing the drums, had a great David Bowie t-shirt on. If you have a jazz and stare at it you'll swear it's singing to you.

We didn't have a jazz but when you're in a band it is a necessity to smoke fags, primarily rollies. Here's Supermen Macauly Crackpipe and Alex enjoying such pleasures.
Junkyard Studios has a fine selection of art. Here's Crackpipe deciding which one he likes best.
The drums for all four tracks were finished incredibly quickly and Jamie and Steve asked the Supermen if they'd lay down some vocals on a track called "You Fucking Punks". Adam said he had been working on his 'Axel Rose voice'. What followed no man nor beast could have predicted. Look at the passion:
Grayham decided to stick to some fairly straight forward singing and rapping since his eyeballs were bleeding from the joyous noise Adam had made. And so another fantastic adventure came to a close.
Here's Lloyd Ganja. If you have a t-shirt printing kit why not use this picture and make a nice Lloyd T-Shirt. He'd hate that.

The Tenants Supermen Record A Song For Newport County F.C.

The Tenants Supermen went to Junkyard Studios in Newport to record a song for Newport County. Here are Steve and Jeff who produced it. They are wicked:
After Adam read the newspaper for a while he had fifteen pisses in twenty minutes and found a luxury canned pop dispenser which he thought would look lovely in his bedroom:
Time for work and our good friend Mike from the great band Dirty Goods helped us out on drums:
We made an in depth plan of the set up of the song and Adam committed it to memory.
The Tenants Supermen's guitarist Macauly Crackpipe laid down some badasss guitar:
Then it was time for Adam to lay down his rap. He had a mouthful of spit which made it awkward:
Then it was Grayham's turn. He has been trying and failing to out-do Adam's hats for years:
Mr Crackpipe and Steve were amazed at the lyrical dexterity of the Supermen and also the amount of takes it took to get it right:

Then it was time for some exciting lyrical sparring, there was spit everywhere:
Alex who has been producing the next Tenants album "Broke Britain" came down to play the bass:
The song is called "Come On The County" and we had to keep a chorus from an old seventies record. Our updated version is rocking and we added some crowd noise ourselves. Studio trickery is amazing:
Then, the night shift came in. This is Jamie he mixed the track. What a lovely fella:
Just before we left Adam said goodbye to his beloved can machine, he was gutted he hadn't seen a can drop out of it and couldn't fit it in his coat:
I met Jamie and Steve in a car park at midnight to pick up the tune. We love it and we hope everybody else does. Watch this space, the Tenants Supermen facebook and www.tenantssupermen.com.
Here's a picture of Lloyd Ganja, he had nothing to do with the recording and this picture was taken years ago, but he hates it when we put his photo on things:
Stay tuned Superpeople!!
